Mental Health, in a New Way

HOW WE STARTED

The Scheiner Group opened in 2015 to meet the behavioral health needs of brain injury survivors and individuals with neurohealth conditions. Inspired by the unique healing journey of each of our clients, we have expanded to offer both traditional and holistic approaches to addressing the impact of trauma – in all its forms – upon the body and mind.

WHY WE TAKE THIS APPROACH

Mental health providers are not routinely trained on the complex needs of persons living with chronic medical conditions and disabilities; and medical providers are often not equipped to address the emotional impact of trauma in their patients and their families  – missing a critical component of their overall care.

As a collective of healers, The Scheiner Group offers integrative approaches to address the psychological impact of trauma, accelerating the healing process. Because we anchor care from the perspective of the individual, their loved ones, and their communities, clients can return to their highest level of functioning and reclaim quality of life.

WHAT WE OFFER

We work with adults presenting with a range of psychological and medical conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, cognitive decline, chronic medical issues, problems of relationships and work, as well as end-of-life concerns. Read more about our services here.
